In a recent interview, Bollywood actress Rituparna Sengupta has described her haunting experience filming the horror thriller Kaal Trighori in an isolated jungle haveli. Directed by Nitin Vaidya, the film also stars Arbaaz Khan, Aditya Srivastava, Mahesh Manjrekar, Rajesh Sharma, and Mugdha Godse.
Sengupta, who calls Kaal Trighori an "intelligent horror film," says this role was unlike anything she had done before - "frightening, layered, and emotionally intense." The eerie location, with its unsettling sounds and slamming doors, deeply immersed the cast into their characters. "Doors would slam, strange sounds echoed, and we often felt something was around us," Sengupta revealed.
According to the actress, director Nitin Vaidya built such a powerful atmosphere that the cast naturally slipped deeper into their roles. "Staying in that mansion, walking through those long corridors -- it pulled us completely into the story," she said. For Sengupta, Kaal Trighori became more than just a film - it was an experience that lingered long after the shoot ended.
