In a surprising twist, two of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's co-stars have recently shared their views that his iconic romantic roles were actually villainous from their characters' perspectives.
Parmeet Sethi, who played Kuljit in the classic film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (DDLJ), says that SRK's character Raj was the real villain of the story. Parmeet explains that Kuljit was engaged to Simran (Kajol), but Raj came and took her away, despite Kuljit not doing anything wrong.
Similarly, actor Manoj Bajpayee, who portrayed Raza in Veer Zaara, believes that SRK's character Veer was the villain from his point of view. Manoj states that Raza was already engaged to Zaara (Preity Zinta), but Veer ended up stealing his fiancée's heart.
Both actors emphasize that they always try to approach their roles from the character's perspective, which led them to see SRK's characters as the antagonists in these beloved romantic films.
