In a recent interview, actor Sudhanshu Pandey, known for his role in the popular TV show Anupamaa, has shared heartwarming stories about the humility of some of the world's biggest stars. Pandey recounts an incident from the set of the film The Myth, where Jackie Chan personally cleaned his shoes after noticing a crew member hesitate to do so. "Jackie Chan mere joote saaf kar raha tha!" Pandey exclaimed, realizing that true greatness is about remaining humble no matter how successful one becomes.
Pandey also had the opportunity to work with the legendary Rajinikanth in Robot 2.0. He describes the Tamil superstar as "divine yet deeply humble," noting that Rajinikanth would always stand up to greet anyone within a 10-foot radius, never sitting until they did. "Despite achieving so much, he remains incredibly down-to-earth," Pandey said, adding that Rajinikanth's international fans rightly treat him like a god.
The actor even had a brief yet memorable encounter with Shah Rukh Khan at Esha Deol's wedding, referring to him as "a simple man at heart despite his global fame." Pandey also praised Jackie Shroff, calling him "a dharti putra," or son of the soil, and commending Shroff's commitment to environmental causes and his genuine nature.
Reflecting on these experiences, Pandey noted that the unpretentiousness of these stars stands in stark contrast to the usual overblown pretension in the entertainment industry. "Success can make some arrogant but the test is about remaining authentic and grounded," he said, reminding us that beneath the glitz of stardom, it's humility that defines a true icon.
