Bollywood Star Seeks Divine Blessings Ahead of Film Release

On November 14, 2025, just days before the theatrical release of her upcoming film De De Pyaar De 2, Bollywood actress Rakul Preet Singh visited the renowned Siddhivinayak Temple in Dadar, Mumbai. Dressed in a traditional yellow outfit, Rakul's temple visit was a gesture of tradition and hope as she sought the blessings of Lord Ganesha for the success of her film.

After paying her respects, Rakul interacted with the media outside the temple, distributing prasad and encouraging attendees to accept it in their right hands. The film, directed by Anshul Sharma and produced by T-Series, Luv Films, and Ankur Garg Films, explores the comedic and dramatic complications of a significant age-gap romance, with Rakul playing the role of Ayesha Khurana, the romantic interest of Ajay Devgn's character Ashish Mehra.

Rakul expressed her delight in working with veteran actor R. Madhavan, who portrays the role of Ayesha's father. She shared, "I have always been a fan of his. It was amazing associating with him as his daughter, I think we shared so many interesting conversations on sets, and learnt so much from him. What a fantastic actor he is and I think whenever the person next to you is a great actor, your performance also enhances and he helped me do that."
