This collaboration aims to boost jobs, investment, and showcase the UK as a global filmmaking destination, strengthening cultural ties between the two countries.

The announcement follows a recent trade deal signed between India and the UK. During his visit to the YRF studio in Mumbai on Wednesday, PM Starmer met with actor Rani Mukerji and YRF CEO Akshaye Widhani. Widhani expressed his delight at reigniting YRF's filming ties with the UK, noting that the country has always been "extremely kind" to the studio and has "empowered them to excel creatively."
