Attempts to free the anchor led to them being hit by a massive wave, overturning their vessel.
With no radio communication and far from cell service, the group found themselves in a dire situation with no immediate hope of rescue. Director Joe Carnahan attempts to capture the grim reality of their plight, utilizing innovative filmmaking techniques to convey the overwhelming despair.
