Blossoms Frontman Closes Down Hometown Bar After 2 Years
30 Sep, 2025
Summary
- Blossoms singer Tom Ogden and wife Katie closed their Stockport bar Bohemian Arts Club
- Bar opened in May 2023 but will shut down in October 2025
- Salon run by Katie will expand into the bar's space

In a surprising move, the frontman of the chart-topping indie band Blossoms, Tom Ogden, and his wife Katie, have announced the closure of their Stockport bar, Bohemian Arts Club. The bar, which opened in May 2023, will be shutting its doors on October 3, 2025, after just 2.5 years of operation.
The Bohemian Arts Club was a sleek and sophisticated speakeasy-style cocktail den, located in Stockport's historic Underbanks district. The couple had been inspired by the bars they visited around the world during the band's tours. However, with the salon run by Katie thriving and in high demand, the decision has been made to expand the salon into the bar's two-floor space.
While the closure of the bar brings sadness, the Ogdens are excited to see the space continue to evolve and flourish. They have expressed their gratitude for the memories they've shared with their customers over the past couple of years, including weddings, birthdays, and countless celebrations.
The Blossoms, formed in 2013, are named after another Stockport pub, The Blossoms, and have enjoyed significant success, with their self-titled debut album reaching number one on the UK Album Charts in 2016. The band has also supported Noel Gallagher and the High Flying Birds and were once rumored to be the support act for an Oasis reunion tour.
