The gritty K-drama Bloodhounds is slated for a return with its second season premiering on Netflix on April 3, 2026. This new season will consist of seven episodes, one less than its predecessor. The narrative of Bloodhounds 2 unfolds three years after the conclusion of the first season, with protagonists Kim Geun-woo and Hong Woo-jin having successfully dealt with the loan sharks from Smile Capital.
Kim Geun-woo is preparing to pursue a career in professional boxing, but he encounters a formidable opponent in Baek Jeong, who operates within the underground boxing scene and prioritizes profit and violence. This clash of principles forces Geun-woo and Woo-jin to once again stand for what they believe is right.
The sequel sees the return of Woo Do-hwan as Kim Geun-woo and Lee Sang-yi as Hong Woo-jin. A significant addition to the cast is Jung Ji-hoon, known as Rain, who will portray an antagonist.
