Blake Lively's $1.75M Salary for 'It Ends With Us' Sparks Controversy

As of October 18, 2025, prolific actress Blake Lively has found herself at the center of a high-profile controversy surrounding her salary for the upcoming romantic film "It Ends With Us." According to reports, Lively's initial salary for the six-week shoot was a jaw-dropping $1.75 million, which equates to over $58,000 per day.

The terms of Lively's contract also included several performance-based bonuses. If the 38-year-old actress manages to win an Oscar for her role, she would receive an additional $200,000. Even a mere Oscar nomination would net her $100,000. Furthermore, if the film's box office performance triples after its release, Lively and her production company would receive a $250,000 bonus.

The revelation of Lively's lucrative deal has added fuel to an ongoing legal dispute between the actress and the film's director, Justin Baldoni. In July 2024, Baldoni's former agent, Danny Greenberg, accused Lively of "extortion" due to her allegedly "volatile" behavior during the post-production process.
