Blackburn Cathedral's Centenary: 100+ Voices Unite

Blackburn Cathedral is marking its centenary with a significant musical event, "100 Voices for 100 Years." Over 100 singers, including members of the rapidly growing Local Vocals choir and performers from Blackburn's New Road Music Studios, are set to participate.

This special concert will showcase a variety of musical styles, from contemporary choir arrangements to operatic pieces. The event aims to bring the community together in celebration and reflection, a tradition the cathedral has upheld for a century.

The "heart of the community" gathering will also serve as a fundraiser. Ticket sales will directly support the ongoing work of Blackburn Cathedral and the East Lancashire Hospice, reinforcing the cathedral's role in supporting vital local organizations.
