Birmingham's city centre will transform into a canvas of light and art for the annual Light Festival, running from February 12th to 15th. This year's event will feature eleven distinct artworks installations, promising a captivating experience for residents and visitors alike.
The festival's program includes a dynamic array of performances. At the Bullring, the FORGED event will host local spoken word artist Amerah Saleh and the progressive metal band Insurgent, who are set to perform with a striking flaming organ installation. Brindleyplace will welcome "The Matter of the Heart" project by Birmingham-born artists Anna West and Davi Callanan, while Oozells Square will feature "The Heartbeat," an installation incorporating the live heartbeats of local people.
