Billy Joel is scheduled to host his first-ever live call-in special on his dedicated SiriusXM channel. The event will allow fans direct access to the legendary musician, providing a unique chance to ask questions and hear from him live.

This broadcast follows Joel's recent candid interview where he disclosed his diagnosis of Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus. The condition, caused by a buildup of cerebrospinal fluid in the skull, affected his balance, memory, and concentration, leading to the cancellation of planned 2025 tour dates.

Joel explained that doctors advised him to consider retiring from live performances due to the physical strain of loud rock shows, likening the impact to repeated concussions. He underwent surgery to implant a shunt to relieve intracranial pressure, which has aided his balance and memory.

Despite stepping back from touring, Joel assures fans he remains engaged and "not going anywhere." His last public appearance was at a March fundraiser supporting music education, which successfully raised over $225,000.
