Billy Crystal is set to return to the Broadway stage this fall with a poignant new one-man show titled '860'. The play draws its name and inspiration from the address of the home he and his family lost to the California wildfires in January 2025, a residence they had occupied for 46 years.
Written and performed by Crystal himself, and directed by Scott Ellis, '860' will feature a limited 12-week engagement at a Shubert Theater to be announced, with previews commencing in October. Crystal described the show as a "joyous and heartfelt visit" to the home, promising to share funny and touching stories from his career and family life.
The production, also produced by his wife Janice Crystal and James L. Nederlander, aims to explore themes of resilience and the strength found in family and friends during challenging times. Crystal, a Tony Award winner for his previous one-man show '700 Sundays', continues his significant contribution to the Broadway landscape with this deeply personal work.
