Billionaires Battle for Eternal Tech Dominance in "Tron: Ares"

On October 10th, 2025, the highly anticipated "Tron: Ares" movie will hit theaters. The film, directed by Joachim Rønning, continues the "Tron" franchise with a story about two warring tech billionaires and their pursuit of a revolutionary "permanence code."

ENCOM CEO Eve Kim, played by Greta Lee, wants to use the code to create sustainable solutions, like 3D-printing orange trees out of thin air. In contrast, Dillinger Systems CEO Julian Dillinger, portrayed by Evan Peters, seeks to exploit the code for his own nefarious purposes, including mass-producing Jared Leto.

Ares, an AI security program, is dispatched to the real world on a 29-minute mission to capture Eve and retrieve the permanence code. However, after a glimpse of Eve's compassion, Ares realizes he is on the wrong side and teams up with her to safeguard the code from Julian's relentless attacks.

The film features a sleek, industrial soundtrack by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, which complements the "Tron" franchise's signature neon aesthetic.
