In collaboration with Marshall, Armstrong also released his first artist signature amplifier, the 1959BJA Artist Signature. This baby-blue amp is based on the handwired 1959HW platform and includes a special 'Dookie Mod,' recreating the tone developed for Green Day's landmark album.
The gear releases arrive as Green Day prepares for the July 31 release of the soundtrack for their film 'Nimrods'. The soundtrack will feature career-spanning hits, live recordings, and a new song. Armstrong has also been active with his cover band, The Coverups, performing with notable guests.
