Comedian Bill Maher is downplaying the severity of President Donald Trump's recent online attack. Trump had launched a scathing Truth Social post, branding Maher a "complete and total loser." In response, Maher appeared on a pre-recorded episode of his Club Random podcast, released after Trump's tirade, where he referred to the president as a "lame duck."
Maher also satirized wealthy liberals who express anxieties about Trump's leadership. This public commentary comes on the heels of a recent dinner shared between Maher and Trump, an event that has reignited discussions concerning their unlikely rapport, the existing political tensions, and Maher's willingness to interact directly with the president.
