Bill Callahan is gearing up for a U.S. tour in anticipation of his new album, 'My Days of 58.' The tour is scheduled to kick off on May 1 in Oklahoma City. Supporting Callahan on this run will be musicians Jana Horn, Otto Benson, and Noveller.
Before commencing his U.S. performances, Callahan has a series of record store sets planned in the UK. These UK dates are set to take place from February 23 through February 27. The core band members featured on 'My Days of 58,' including guitarist Matt Kinsey, tenor saxophonist Dustin Laurenzi, and drummer Jim White, will join him for the U.S. shows.
Two tracks have been released from 'My Days of 58' so far: "The Man I'm Supposed to Be" and "Lonely City." The latter was accompanied by a music video featuring a montage of Daniel Arnold's street photography from New York, captured over 15 years. This marked a significant collaboration, as it was the first time Arnold permitted his work to be used in a music video. Callahan's last studio album, 'Ytilaer,' was released in 2022.
