Daniele Longo, a 45-year-old fine art photographer from Rome, is traveling with his border collie-Alsation cross, Haku, who rides in the sidecar.
The duo departed from Kent this week. This ambitious overland expedition fulfills a long-held aspiration, as a previous plan to sail the globe 13 years prior was thwarted.
