She firmly denied claims that her rumoured boyfriend, Bhaskar Bhatt, an ex-employee of the production house, influenced her progress in the show. Bhatt stated that Bhaskar had merely advised her to be vocal and show her true personality, not to expect any internal support.

Bhatt also dismissed the 'love angle' narrative between her and Bhaskar, clarifying that he is a dear friend and she has met him only a few times, even before the show. She revealed Bhaskar had initially approached her for the show two years prior, but she was unavailable then. She expressed surprise at the rumours, calling them nonsensical.
