Big Mistakes chronicles the misadventures of Nicky and Morgan, two siblings who are completely out of their depth. Their lives take an unexpected turn when a misguided attempt to steal something for their ailing grandmother plunges them into the dangerous realm of organized crime. Faced with blackmail, they are forced into increasingly perilous assignments, which they handle with comical ineptitude, leading them to "fail upwards" into ever-greater chaos.
