Big Brother Star: 'My TV Stint Made Me Unemployable'

Caroline Monk, a 56-year-old PR executive and former Big Brother contestant, believes her stint on the reality show has rendered her unemployable. Monk, who was the ninth contestant eliminated from series 22 last October, shared her concerns via Instagram. She stated that the only job offers she has received in Wakefield are for a prison officer position at a high-security facility or as a bingo caller, neither of which aligns with her aspirations.

Monk, who previously dated TV presenter Matthew Wright, is currently earning money by selling her clothes on the resale site Vinted and fulfilling requests for personalized Cameo videos. She expressed a desire for roles as a TV or radio presenter, or a podcast host, believing her direct and humorous personality would be well-suited. Monk recounted an instance where she feels she "put her foot in it" during her time on Big Brother, potentially harming her career prospects.
