On September 29th, 2025, Big Brother UK kicked off its latest season with a live launch on ITV2. However, the 12 new housemates were in for a surprise twist that they didn't see coming on the very first night.
Hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best teased throughout the evening that one of the housemates would not survive the night and would be immediately evicted. After the initial introductions, the public was given the opportunity to vote via the Big Brother app, tasked with selecting the housemate they wanted to give an "evil eye" to, putting them at risk of eviction.
Following the vote, Big Brother revealed the five housemates with the most votes - Emily, Nancy, Sam, Caroline, and Cameron. While Nancy and Cameron were deemed safe, Emily, Sam, and Caroline were cursed with the evil eye and sent to the Exit Room, where their fate would be decided. Viewers will have to tune in to the next episode on Monday to find out which of the three cursed housemates will be the first to be evicted from the Big Brother UK house.
