Big Brother Showmances Blossom Into Lasting Love

Big Brother has proven to be a surprising incubator for lasting relationships, with numerous contestants finding love and forming strong bonds. Seven couples who met within the iconic house are still together as of July 2026, with some even building families. Host Julie Chen Moonves humorously remarked that the show has produced more marriages than "The Bachelor," despite its primary focus on competition rather than romance.

One of the longest-standing couples, Jordan Lloyd and Jeff Schroeder, met in season 11 in 2009. They married in March 2016 and are now parents to two sons, Lawson and Layton, and host a podcast together. Brendon Villegas and Rachel Reilly, who met in season 12 in 2010, also married in September 2012 and have two children, Adora and Adler. They have since appeared on multiple other reality shows.

Daniele Donato and Dominic Briones, who connected during season 13 in 2011, wed in January 2013 and welcomed daughters Tennessee and Lux. Nicole Franzel and Victor Arroyo, who met in season 18 in 2016, married in January 2021 after Arroyo proposed live on the show during season 20. They have a son, Arrow, and welcomed twins, River and Goldie, in February 2026.

Jessica Graf and Cody Nickson, season 19 contestants from 2017, married in October 2018 and have since had five daughters: Maverick, Carter, Atlas, Gemma, and Italia. Bayleigh Dayton and Christopher Williams, who met in season 20 in 2018, married in February 2019 and have two children, Alora and Christopher. They currently reside in Dubai.

Most recently, America Lopez and Cory Wurtenberger found love during season 25 in 2023. They moved to Boston together in 2025 and co-hosted a podcast. The summer of 2026 also sees a new potential showmance brewing between Lyric Medeiros and Rome Seymour in season 28.
