The British Independent Film Awards (BIFA) have announced the winners of its craft categories, with Lynne Ramsay's films Pillion and Die My Love emerging as significant recipients. These accolades were revealed in London ahead of the main BIFA ceremony scheduled for next month. Two-time BIFA nominee Seamus McGarvey received the award for Best Cinematography, recognizing his visual contributions.
Die My Love was further celebrated with Raife Burchell and Ian Neil winning Best Music Supervision. Pillion also garnered two awards: Grace Snell was honored for Best Costume Design, and Diandra Ferreira secured Best Make-Up & Hair Design, highlighting the technical excellence of the production.
In other categories, Tom Basden and Adem Ilhan won Best Original Music for The Ballad of Wallis Island. Best Casting went to Lauren Evans for I Swear by Kirk Jones. Nathan Parker earned Best Production Design for his work on Athina Rachel Tsangari's folk horror Harvest. The remaining BIFA winners will be announced at the ceremony on November 30th.
