Bhumi Pednekar Dazzles in Heritage Marathi Attire for Award

Bhumi Pednekar was recently honored with the MaTa Sanman 2026 Award for her compelling performance in the crime psychological thriller, Daldal. The series, which debuted on Amazon Prime on January 30, 2026, features Pednekar as DCP Rita Ferreira.

To accept the prestigious award, Pednekar embraced her Maharashtrian roots, captivating attendees with a classic Marathi mulgi look. She chose a traditional Paithani saree adorned with floral motifs, complemented by a distinctive blouse embellished with real gold zari and precious stones. This archival piece highlighted her deep connection to cultural heritage.

Pednekar further accentuated her traditional attire with exquisite heritage jewelry. She wore a 22K gold hasli by Pooja Nigam, layered with a gold beaded chain.
