Actress Bhumi Pednekar recently shared her admiration for the film Dhurandhar, stating it has inspired her to seek future collaborations with its director, Aditya Dhar, and star, Ranveer Singh. The spy action thriller was a significant success.

Pednekar revealed in a recent interview that Dhar and Singh are now on her list of desired collaborators. She admitted that while she generally finds "masculine" films unengaging, she thoroughly enjoyed Dhurandhar and would be thrilled to work with Ranveer Singh, whom she considers a major fan of.

Furthermore, Pednekar discussed the film industry's preoccupation with opening weekend box office results. She explained how this obsession negatively impacts smaller films by not allowing them adequate time to build audience interest through word-of-mouth, often leading to premature judgments about their success.

She highlighted that films like hers, which often rely on word-of-mouth, are not given such opportunities in today's climate. The current system, she noted, allows early box office figures on a Friday to dictate a film's fate, potentially denying worthy movies a chance.

On the professional front, Pednekar is set to appear in Adhoore Hum Adhoore Tum with Imran Khan, marking her return to cinema.
