While initial projections aimed for a Rs 20 crore opening, mixed audience reactions to promotional materials influenced pre-release excitement. Nevertheless, the Rs 12-15 crore opening is considered a solid start for the film.
The release date was strategically shifted to avoid a direct conflict with Dhurandhar 2, which has been dominating the box office since March 19. With Dhurandhar 2's run nearing its conclusion, Bhooth Bangla faces limited competition.
