Bhojpuri Stars' Six-Hour Fight Delay!
16 Sep
Summary
- Actors debated who should initiate a fight sequence.
- The dispute over punching order delayed shooting.
- Dinesh Lal Yadav mediated the six-hour filming halt.
A hilarious incident from the sets of the Bhojpuri film 'Ganga Jamuna Saraswati' involved a prolonged filming halt of nearly six hours. The delay was caused by a disagreement between lead actors Ravi Kishan and Manoj Tiwari over a fight sequence.
According to actress Aamrapali Dubey, who shared the anecdote, the dispute centered on who should deliver the initial punch. Tiwari reportedly felt the police should strike first, while Kishan argued his character's established authority meant he should not be attacked first.
Dinesh Lal Yadav, also starring in the film, eventually stepped in to resolve the impasse. He suggested a compromise where both actors would prepare to punch each other, and he would intervene to stop the fight.
After approximately six hours of discussion, a final resolution was reached: Dinesh Lal Yadav himself would receive the first 'punch' to allow the scene to proceed. The film 'Ganga Jamuna Saraswati', released in 2012, featured Kishan, Tiwari, and Yadav in prominent roles.
