He described how he meticulously copied Badr's ghazals, which later led to personal visits with the poet in Meerut. Rekha Bhardwaj shared her fond memories of meeting Badr, who welcomed her like family.
The tribute program also included recitations and musical renditions of Badr's ghazals by Vishal and Rekha Bhardwaj, earning warm applause. An all-India mushaira dedicated to Badr's influence on modern Urdu poetry was also held, aiming to introduce his rich creative output to younger audiences and preserve his literary values.
