- Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Love & War' filming shifted to Mumbai
- Planned international shoot in Italy cancelled due to logistical challenges

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming multi-starrer 'Love & War' has been generating significant buzz among Bollywood fans. The film, which features Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal in the lead roles, was originally scheduled to have a 45-day shoot in Italy. However, the international filming plan has now been scrapped due to logistical challenges.
Instead, Bhansali has decided to recreate a slice of Italy on a lavish set near Royal Palms in Goregaon, Mumbai. The director wanted to maintain the opulence of the film's setting while keeping tight control over the production. A 10-day stint with the lead actors was completed before Diwali, and the unit is currently on a short break before resuming the final 20-day schedule, which includes shooting the film's climax.
The production team is now being extra cautious about not leaking any details or looks of the actors. Bhansali aims to wrap up filming by mid-December 2025, with 'Love & War' slated for a March 2026 release. The film was earlier rumored to clash with Yash's 'Toxic' on the Ugadi, Gudi Padwa, and Eid weekend, but the makers are yet to confirm the release date.
