Bhansali Productions Scales Up With New Historical Epic

Bhansali Productions is gearing up for a grand historical epic helmed by director Ranjan Chandel, who previously directed the acclaimed series 'Grahan'. This new venture is being developed concurrently with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's directorial project, 'Love & War'.

The script for the historical epic is finalized, with the production team set to commence casting in the near future. Filming is anticipated to begin in the first half of 2027.

This collaboration aims to merge Chandel's narrative style, known for crime dramas and intense characters, with Bhansali Productions' hallmark of large-scale, visually rich period pieces.

Ranjan Chandel's notable works include the crime drama 'Grahan' and the romantic action film 'Bamfaad'. He also has upcoming projects such as the fourth season of 'Rangbaaz', which recently began filming in Bhopal.

Meanwhile, Sanjay Leela Bhansali is wrapping up his period romantic drama 'Love & War'. Bhansali Productions also has other projects in development, including a mythological jungle adventure featuring Dhanush, slated for production in February 2027.
