An exhibition documenting a year of activity at Beverley Racecourse is set to open on February 14, 2026. Titled "Photo Finish: A Year at Beverley Races," it will feature images captured by seven regional photographers, offering glimpses into the crowds and the essential behind-the-scenes operations.
The collection highlights the work of stewards, caterers, and the dedication of horses and jockeys. Organizers aim to convey the "thrill" of the races and the sense of community and tradition integral to the racecourse's identity.
This exhibition, running until June 6, 2026, at the Champney Treasure House Museum, will also incorporate historic horse racing footage from the Yorkshire Film Archive, museum documents, and items loaned from the racecourse itself. It is part of the East Riding of Yorkshire Council's exhibition program for 2026.
