Bestselling Author's Kids Battle Supernatural Witch in Chilling Thriller

In a chilling turn of events, Vantage Media has announced the acquisition of the US rights to the horror film "The Calling Witch." The deal, finalized at this year's American Film Market, follows the story of a sinister figure from a bestselling scary story for kids who leaps off the pages and into the real world.

The film, directed by Mark Wilson and written by Chris Rett, centers around a witch who lures children into the woods to devour them. When the story's author suddenly dies, the witch seems to come to life, targeting the author's own children. Alone in their remote family home, the siblings must fight to survive and uncover the dark truth behind the legend their mother created.
