Best Movies Directed by Famous Actors

Many actors have achieved significant success behind the camera, embarking on directorial careers. This compilation focuses on films directed by individuals who first gained fame as screen actors. The selections prioritize these transformative journeys, showcasing their talents in a new capacity.

Notable directorial efforts from stars like Ben Affleck and Greta Gerwig are featured. However, this list intentionally excludes films by directors who were already established filmmakers, such as Orson Welles's "Citizen Kane" and Spike Lee's "Do the Right Thing," to maintain a specific focus on the actor-turned-director phenomenon.
