Joshua Berger has joined Two Daughters Entertainment's board as a non-executive director and strategic advisor. Berger brings extensive experience from his 31-year tenure at Warner Bros. Entertainment, where he led UK, Ireland, and Spain operations and oversaw global franchise development for "Harry Potter." His appointment coincides with Two Daughters Entertainment's significant expansion into feature films and global IP, moving beyond its television roots.
The company's first theatrical release, "The Land of Sometimes," is scheduled for worldwide cinema distribution this spring. "The Land of Sometimes" boasts a voice cast including Ewan McGregor, Mel Brooks, and Helena Bonham Carter, with original music by Tim Rice. Leon Joosen directs the film, with veteran producers Bonnie Arnold and the late Alan Yentob among the executive producers.
Two Daughters Entertainment, founded by James Reatchlous in 2016, has a strong track record with its animated property "Moley," which has reached 180 countries. The company is now poised to greenlight a second feature film and develop a broader slate of original animated properties, marking a substantial increase in its ambitions. Berger's expertise in building global franchises is expected to be instrumental in this new chapter.
