Ben Folds Five Reissue & Reunion Tour Announced

Ben Folds Five is set to release a deluxe reissue of their 1995 self-titled debut album, commemorating its 30th anniversary. This comprehensive package, scheduled for release on September 4, will include a newly remastered version of the original album. Additionally, it will feature a collection of rare early demos and outtakes, presented under the title 'Shelved First Attempt.'

Fans can get a preview with the release of the 'Shelved First Attempt' version of the song "Underground" available now. Ben Folds himself described the album as "rough and tumble" and "emphatically unique" in the reissue's liner notes. Alongside this release, the original trio—Ben Folds, Robert Sledge, and Darren Jessee—will reunite for their first live performances in 13 years. Full details regarding their upcoming tour are expected to be announced soon.
