The series is already confirmed for broadcast on YLE in Finland and TV3 in Catalonia, with additional presales in Iceland and the Czech Republic.
"Belzebubs" merges domestic comedy with heavy metal satire, centering on Sløth, a father striving to balance his family life with his heavy metal band aspirations. The show delves into the everyday challenges faced by an unconventional family, all while navigating the demands of PTA meetings and satanic masses.
The original webcomic, which began as a personal project, has garnered over half a million fans worldwide and spawned a record deal with Century Media. Pyjama Films is producing the series, with Terhi Väänänen, Giorgio Scorza, Davide Rosio, and Peter Keydel attached. The English voice cast includes Andrew Wheildon-Dennis as Sløth and Jess Robinson as his wife Lucy.
