Captain Sandy Speaks on Nathan Gallagher's Legal Troubles

Captain Sandy Yawn has spoken about the ongoing situation with her former Below Deck Mediterranean costar, Nathan Gallagher. Gallagher was arrested in Australia in December 2025 on domestic violence charges involving an alleged incident with a 29-year-old woman. He was subsequently convicted of three counts of domestic violence after failing to appear in court.

Yawn stated that she continues to communicate with Gallagher, encouraging him to address his drinking and seek help. She noted that Gallagher has been attending meetings and is trying to change his life. The Bravo network fired Gallagher following his arrest.

Gallagher himself has acknowledged making mistakes and stated he would take responsibility for his actions, while also suggesting that other evidence could provide context. He and costar Gael Cameron, with whom he shares a 2-year-old daughter, have ended their romantic relationship but hope to establish a peaceful coparenting plan. Cameron has expressed gratitude for the support received during this difficult period.
