The Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival has demonstrated a significant economic benefit, with last year's event generating £7.8 million in net impact for the Highlands. An economic assessment revealed that visitor spending played a crucial role in boosting local businesses, suppliers, and employees.
Originally a one-day event started in 2004, the festival has grown to encompass three days. In 2025, nearly half of all attendees traveled from outside the local council area, highlighting its broader appeal. The total economic impact across Scotland was £11.2 million, a 70% increase since 2014.
The festival producer emphasized a commitment to working with regional partners and suppliers. This year's Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival is scheduled to take place from 30 July to 1 August, featuring performances by The Lottery Winners, Ella Henderson, and DJ Sigala.
