Hadid was first diagnosed with Lyme disease in 2012 at the age of 16, alongside her mother Yolanda Hadid and brother Anwar. Over the years, Hadid has struggled with severe joint pain, anxiety, brain fog, and extreme fatigue, which her mother has described as an "unknown hell" that can "bring you to your knees."
However, in a recent update, Hadid shared that she is now "finally healthy" after undergoing 100 days of "intense treatment" for her illness. She expressed gratitude, saying the years of "invisible suffering" were "all worth it" if she can now "have a lifetime of spreading love from a full cup, and being able to truly be myself, For the first time ever."
