Summary
- Belissa Escobedo stars as Isabella in "Happy's Place."
- She previously appeared in "American Horror Stories" Season 1.
- Escobedo played Shanti in "Rubber (wo)Man" episodes.
Belissa Escobedo currently plays Isabella, a bubbly co-owner of "Happy's Place," a workplace sitcom. She stars alongside Reba McEntire, portraying her newly discovered half-sister. The show is set to premiere its third season in mid-October.
However, Escobedo's acting career includes a starkly different role prior to this sitcom. She appeared in two episodes of "American Horror Stories" Season 1. These episodes, "Rubber (wo)Man: Part One" and "Part Two," were linked to the "American Horror Story" universe.
In "American Horror Stories," Escobedo portrayed Shanti, the best friend of Scarlett Winslow. Her character alerts Scarlett to a prank that leads to Scarlett's transformation into the murderous Rubber Woman. This horror role contrasts sharply with her current comedic portrayal.
