In the upcoming film, Clay discovers that the Beekeepers, an elite clandestine intelligence group, have turned rogue and are targeting individuals. The situation escalates when the organization kidnaps the president, prompting Jeremy Irons' character, Wallace Westwyld, to task Clay with ending the crisis.
Clay embarks on a mission, employing various weapons and even bees as a tactical advantage. Directed by Timo Tjahjanto, "The Beekeeper 2" is scheduled to premiere in theaters on January 14, 2027. The original 2024 film, directed by David Ayer, achieved significant global box office success, surpassing $160 million.
Several cast members from the first film, including Irons, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Bobby Naderi, and Jemma Redgrave, are returning. New additions to the franchise include Yara Shahidi, Pom Klementieff, and Adam Copeland. While the first movie focused on Clay's revenge mission, the sequel finds him as a wanted individual continuing his fight against those who wronged him.
