Meanwhile, Ashton Kutcher's character, Byron Forst, navigates his own transformation into 'The Corporation.' His return home features an elaborate, sensual dance sequence choreographed to reflect his newfound power and the world bending to his will.
Director Michael Uppendahl emphasized grounding the characters' motivations, noting the inspiration for Clara and Mike was to create a 'Laverne & Shirley' in 2030.
