Beatles Ashram to Host Global 'CLOVER' Film Project

In February 2027, Rishikesh's 'Chaurasi Kutiya', the renowned Beatles Ashram, will serve as the filming location for 'CLOVER,' an ambitious international film project. This initiative, spearheaded by Oscar-winning director Sam Mendes and Neal Street Productions for Sony Pictures Entertainment, will comprise four separate films. Each film is dedicated to exploring the unique life and musical trajectory of one member of the iconic British band, The Beatles.

The complete series, presented as 'The Beatles - A Four-Film Cinematic Event,' is scheduled for a grand global theatrical debut in April 2028. The production anticipates employing over 100 international crew members and approximately 150 Indian personnel, fostering local employment and stimulating the region's hospitality and transport sectors.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami affirmed Uttarakhand's status as a prime film destination, citing its natural beauty and cultural richness. He highlighted the state's Film Policy-2024, designed to provide a supportive environment for filmmakers and attract more domestic and international projects, thereby creating job opportunities for local talent.

This venture is expected to further elevate the global profile of Uttarakhand's spiritual and cultural heritage, drawing increased international tourism. The delegation that met with the Chief Minister included notable figures such as British producer Alexandra Derbyshire and Indian producer Dilip Singh Rathore.
