This adaptation stars Jessica Vosk as Cee Cee Bloom and Kelli Barrett as Bertie White, reprising their roles from the musical's 2024 world premiere in Canada. A new music video released exclusively features Vosk and Barrett performing "Wish I Could Be Like You," a joyous duet highlighting the deep connection between their characters.
The production features a score by Grammy Award-winning Mike Stoller and lyrics by Iris Rainer Dart, with a book by Dart and Thom Thomas. Co-directed by Lonny Price and Matt Cowart, Beaches promises to bring the iconic tale of enduring female friendship, ambition, and loss to the stage.
