John Stamos' group, the California Sound, is slated to perform at Walt Disney World's EPCOT, seemingly filling in for The Beach Boys. This change follows recent news that Beach Boys member Mike Love is experiencing significant health issues.
Stamos, a longtime collaborator and friend of Love, shared an emotional update regarding Love's condition. He described Love as a "fighter" who insisted on performing despite his health challenges, wanting to be on stage with his band and audience.
Love himself acknowledged facing "health issues for quite a while" during a recent performance, expressing his desire not to miss shows, particularly those celebrating the 60th anniversary of "Pet Sounds."
Despite these recent developments, The Beach Boys have not officially confirmed the replacement and continue to list concert dates extending to May 2027, including upcoming performances at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino and the River Cree Resort and Casino.
