Batwara 1947, a period drama starring Sunny Deol, has seen its box office momentum weaken considerably as it entered its second week. The film, which garnered a strong boost during the Independence Day weekend, experienced a sharp decline in collections throughout its first week. On its eighth day, the movie earned Rs 75 lakh nett in India, its lowest single-day figure to date, bringing its total India nett collection to Rs 34.35 crore.

Globally, Batwara 1947 has grossed Rs 49.02 crore, just shy of the Rs 50 crore milestone. The film's overseas performance contributed Rs 8.25 crore to this total. However, the recent downward trend in collections presents a challenge as it heads into its crucial second weekend.
