Battlefield 6's Season 5 update, rolling out in waves starting October 13, will reintroduce a fully functional server browser, a feature long desired by fans. This addition aims to replicate the classic Battlefield experience, allowing players to select specific maps and modes. The season begins with "Siege of Las Vegas," introducing "Vegas Strip" and "Area 51" maps. This update also brings "Rapid Royale" to the game's battle royale mode, RedSec, promising quicker matches.
A special Halloween event is scheduled from October 20 to November 7, featuring a non-canon scenario centered around secret technology found under Area 51. This event includes a crossover with the Dead Space series, offering themed cosmetics and environments inspired by its 2023 remake. The "Casino Heist" phase, launching November 10, will add the "European Casino" map.
The final phase, "Frozen Aces," is set for December 8, bringing a winter theme to Las Vegas and new operations. Crucially, the highly anticipated server browser will also become available during this third phase of Season 5. Battlefield 6 achieved significant commercial success, becoming the best-selling game in the US in 2025.
