15 Oct
Summary
- Batman's live-action DCU debut is expected in the Superman sequel.
- The film is slated for release on July 9, 2027.
- Wonder Woman's role may also be revealed in the movie.

The DC Universe's new continuity, which began with Creature Commandos in late 2024, will see a significant expansion with the July 2025 release of Superman's theatrical film. Following this, the upcoming sequel, Man of Tomorrow, set for July 9, 2027, is poised to introduce several key characters.
Most notably, reports suggest that the live-action DCU version of Batman will make its debut in Man of Tomorrow. While Batman has had a cameo in the canon Creature Commandos, this film could mark his proper introduction, potentially as a shadowy observer of events in Metropolis.
Further expanding the DCU's roster, the film will bring back heroes like Guy Gardner and Hawkgirl, and introduce John Stewart and Blue Beetle. Rumors also indicate Adria Arjona will portray Wonder Woman, possibly offering an early look at DC's foundational "Trinity" before a Justice League film.
This anticipation builds as DC also develops other Batman-related projects, including a solo Clayface film, animated features with Dick Grayson and Jason Todd, and rumored films for Bane and Deathstroke, all seemingly leading to Bruce Wayne's eventual solo outing in The Brave and the Bold.
