Batgirl Movie Scrapped, But Actor Praises Its Quality

In the ever-evolving world of the DC Universe, the recent decision by Warner Bros. to cancel the Batgirl movie has left many fans disappointed. The film, which was set to introduce the larger Bat-family into the DCEU, was nearly completed when the studio made the surprising move to scrap it.

Despite the setback, one of the movie's actors, Jacob Scipio, has come forward to praise the quality of the Batgirl project. Scipio, who was part of the cast, expressed his sadness over the cancellation, stating that the movie was "so good" and that he had been waiting for years to see Batman's protégés join the action of the DCEU.

The Batgirl movie was set to feature a talented cast, including Leslie Grace as the titular heroine, as well as the return of Michael Keaton's Batman and J.K. Simmons' James Gordon. Brendan Fraser was also set to play the villainous Firefly, and Scipio's comments suggest that his performance was outstanding.

While the DCEU itself is now considered "dead," Scipio is holding out hope that the Batgirl movie could still see the light of day, citing the example of the Coyote V. Acme project, which was initially scrapped but later brought back. With fans continuing to express their desire to see the film, there's a glimmer of hope that Warner Bros. may eventually give in to the demand and release Batgirl for the world to enjoy.
